JOLT NZ new customers increase 250% in 12 months
Transport Minister Simeon Brown this week joined electric vehicle (EV) charging / out-of-home media network, JOLT, for the launch of its first free, fast and clean charging station in Wellington.
JOLT has unveiled its first 100% digital roadside panels, integrated with EV chargers,in Wellington, with more sites launching regularly. Customers can download the JOLT mobile app or check the JOLT website to view site locations.
JOLT’s New Zealand digital out-of-home footprint now spans Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington, providing brands with greater opportunity to connect with roadside audiences and premium, urban EV driving audiences in New Zealand’s largest cities. JOLT will continue to invest to roll out a full network of digital out-of-home panels across Greater Wellington.
JOLT’s arrival in the capital means Wellingtonians can now charge for free and enjoy up to 50 kms of driving range, or 7 kWh, every day, made possible by the company’s unique advertising-funded model.
JOLT has seen a 250% increase in EV charging customers over the past year, marking a significant sign of success for the company.
JOLT Country Manager, Chris Monaghan, said: “Our expansion into Wellington means JOLT has a presence in New Zealand’s three biggest cities. Brands now have the opportunity to reach both roadside broadcast audiences, and JOLT’s desirable EV driving audience, who have dwell times of up to 30 minutes at JOLT charging stations, while also engaging via the JOLT app where brands can communicate one on one with the EV driver.
